Thank you – your Senior School visit is confirmed

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Leweston School

Thank you for booking a visit to Leweston School. We’re really looking forward to welcoming you and your family to our school to see what life at Leweston looks like for our pupils.

What happens next

You will shortly receive an email confirmation with the details of your visit. This will include:

  • your date and time
  • where to arrive on the day
  • who you are likely to meet during your visit

A member of our Admissions team may be in touch if we need any further information about your child, their current school or particular interests (for example boarding, equestrian, modern pentathlon or specific subjects).

If your plans change and you need to adjust or reschedule your visit, just reply to the confirmation email or contact the Admissions team and we will do our best to help.

On the day of your visit

  • Please aim to arrive a few minutes before your appointment so we can start on time.
  • There is signposted parking on site; full directions are included in your confirmation email.
  • We will make sure there is time for a tour of the school, a conversation about your child, and plenty of space for questions about academics, pastoral care, boarding and daily life.

We encourage pupils to come with you if possible. It is helpful for them to see classrooms, social spaces and boarding houses for themselves and to ask their own questions. If this is not possible you are most welcome to return with them at a later stage.

What you can expect from your visit

Every child and every family is different, so we will shape your visit around what matters most to you. This might include:

  • seeing classrooms, science labs, art and music facilities, sports areas and boarding houses relevant to your child’s year of entry
  • understanding how we support pupils academically, socially and emotionally through the transition into Senior School
  • talking through class sizes, subject options and pathways towards GCSE and beyond
  • exploring boarding options, including flexi and weekly boarding, if this is of interest
  • finding out more about sport, equestrian, modern pentathlon, music, drama, art and clubs, and how these fit alongside academic work
  • discussing practicalities such as transport, extended day, homework routines and how we communicate with home

Our aim is that you leave with a clear sense of our community and whether Leweston feels like the right environment for your child to be known, stretched and supported.

Before you come

If you would like to get a feel for Senior School life before your visit, you might like to:

  • browse recent school news and stories on our website
  • follow our social media channels for glimpses of lessons, matches, performances and everyday school life
  • make a note of any specific questions you would like to cover, such as academic support, scholarships and bursaries, boarding or transport
