Leweston has a long history of caring for forces families and many serving and former military personnel form part of our community. We understand the unique challenges that come with service life and provide a nurturing, ‘home-from-home’ boarding community that gives children stability, care, and consistent support. Our boarding houses are within the main school building, fostering strong bonds and a seamless integration between academic and family life 

Leweston makes it easy for military families to stay connected. We accommodate siblings from Year 4 to Year 13, allowing brothers and sisters to remain together on their educational journey. Flexible, family-friendly boarding options including, full, weekly, and flexi-boarding, are designed to fit the realities of military life. Free weekends, there is no Saturday school, offer valuable family time, while a vibrant weekend programme keeps on-campus students engaged.

We also provide significant financial support: If you receive the MOD Continuity of Education Allowance (CEA), you benefit from a discounted full boarding fee. As required by the MOD, parents fund a minimum of 10% of the fees, with Leweston’s CEA remission covering the remaining costs, making Leweston a highly attractive option for service families.
