What is Experience Leweston?

Experience Leweston is an open activity afternoon held at Leweston School on Friday 19 June 2026, from 1.00pm to 4.30pm. Children take part in one of five activity sessions led by Leweston staff, while parents meet the Headmaster, hear from the academic and pastoral teams, and tour the school.

Who is Experience Leweston for?

Experience Leweston is open to all families considering Leweston School, from Prep School age through to Sixth Form entry. Whatever stage you are at, you are welcome to come and see the school for yourself.

What activities can children choose at Experience Leweston?

Children choose one activity when they register: Outdoor Education (walk and shelter building), Modern Pentathlon (laser run and swimming), Music (hands-on session with our Director of Music), Equestrian (riding taster at the Leweston Chedington Riding Academy, subject to availability), or a school quiz. No prior experience is needed for any activity.

Is there a charge to attend Experience Leweston?

No. Experience Leweston is a free event. Places are limited, so families are asked to register in advance.

Do children need previous experience to take part in the activities?

No prior experience is required for any of the activity sessions, including the equestrian taster at the Leweston Chedington Riding Academy.

Leweston Sixth Form welcomes students from schools across the area. You'll be fully part of the Sixth Form, the teaching, the activities, the community.

Small teaching groups: At A Level, a group of eight is a genuinely different experience. Your teachers know how you think and teach accordingly.
A broad subject choice: With a wide range of subjects and A Level and BTEC options, study the combination that's right for you. Apply early and have the timetable built for you.
Independence, with a safety net: You'll be treated as an adult and given the freedom to work that way but in a Sixth Form small enough that no one slips through the net. If you need more support, you won't have to ask twice.
University preparation built in: Personal statement support, interview preparation, and independent thinking built into the Sixth Form experience from the start.
