Book a Visit

Visit Week: 2 to 6 March 2026

A Future As Unique As Your Ambitions

You’re about to make big decisions about what to study next, where to go, and who you want to become. Leweston Sixth Form is an independent, co-educational environment for students aged 16–18 where you’re known as an individual, challenged academically, and supported in planning your future.

Book your personalised visit during Sixth Form Visit Week by completing the form on this page with your preferred date and time. Miss Ixer, our Registrar, will be in touch promptly to confirm your visit and answer any questions.

Come and see for yourself why Leweston has been shortlisted for Independent School of the Year for Careers Support in both 2024 and 2025.

What Your Visit Will Be Like

This isn’t an open evening where you just walk around and collect leaflets. Your visit is about you, your subjects and your next step.

During your visit you will:

  • Ask questions about your subjects, timetable and future plans – from university to apprenticeships and careers.
  • Tour the Sixth Form spaces and wider campus, including new courses, study areas and enrichment options.
  • Meet teachers and current Sixth Formers to hear honestly what life here is like.
  • Meet the Headmaster to talk about your ambitions and how Leweston can support them.

We recommend allowing at least 90 minutes for your visit. Please arrive around five minutes early so you have time to sign in and get settled before your tour.

If you can’t join us during Visit Week, we can usually arrange an individual visit, subject to the Headmaster’s availability. If you live further away or overseas, we can also offer one‑to‑one virtual meetings so you can still explore your options.

To get started, complete the form on this page with your preferred date and time. Miss Ixer will contact you to confirm the details and help with any practical questions.

"“Leweston offers so many opportunities tailored to the individual, there really is something for everyone and all of your achievements are celebrated.”"

Empowering You to Succeed

At Leweston Sixth Form, you’re treated like a young adult, not just “a pupil”. You’ll be pushed to aim high, but you’ll also get the support you need to get there.

  • Small classes mean teachers know you well and can teach at your pace.
  • You can choose from over 20 A Level and BTEC courses, so you can build a programme that fits your strengths and interests.
  • With the new Equine Management BTEC launching in September 2024, there are even more options if you’re interested in a practical or vocational pathway.

Our results show what’s possible: in August 2025, over one‑third of A Level entries were graded A or A*,   and well over half gained at least one top grade. Many students go on to top universities and conservatoires, often with A* and A grades across a wide range of subjects.

Personalised Support and Careers Guidance That Actually Helps

Planning your next steps can feel overwhelming. At Leweston, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

You’ll have:

  • a personal tutor who checks in regularly
  • a dedicated Head of Sixth Form
  • a Careers Advisor you can talk to about your ideas (even if they change)

Our careers programme – shortlisted for Independent School of the Year for Careers Support – includes:

  • UCAS and personal statement workshops
  • Oxbridge and competitive course support
  • advice on apprenticeships and international applications
  • employer events, mock interviews and CV sessions
  • access to Leweston’s alumnae and alumni networks

The aim is simple: help you find and follow a pathway that feels right for you.

Leadership, Enrichment and Being Part of Something

Sixth Form at Leweston is about more than lessons and exams – it’s about the person you’re becoming.

Through our LEaP (Enrichment and Development) programme, you can:

  • take on leadership roles as Prefect, House Captain or Subject Ambassador
  • get involved in community service, mentoring, public speaking and entrepreneurship
  • keep active with sport, outdoor activities and clubs
  • try new things in music, drama, arts and more

You’ll be part of a friendly, mixed community where people know your name, notice when you’re not yourself and celebrate what you achieve, big or small.
