Ready for anything starts here | Leweston Video Prospectus

Some things don't fit on a printed page. Horses at six in the morning. A Prep 4 debate about whether the Romans were really the bad guys. A whole school outside in all weathers. Our video Prep and Senior prospectuses show you what a day here looks like, and lets you hear from the pupils who know it best. Watch the teasers and complete the form below to watch the full videos at your own pace, then see whether it sounds like the right place for your child. If it does, we'd love to meet you.

Two films, told by the pupils themselves. Watch the teasers below, then use the form to watch the full videos and see a typical day at Prep, and what five years at Leweston can lead to.

A new adventure every day

Meet Tiggy (Year 5) and Teddy (Year 2), who take you through a typical day at Leweston Prep.

Tiggy is deep into WW2 in her topic work, and fits in coding, Spanish and time at the equestrian centre. Teddy's favourites are forest school, where he's learning to light a fire, and his rock music lessons. He's also taking up cricket this term.

Future ready education

Bea is in the Sixth Form, and in this film she looks back over five years at Leweston.

She starts with Chemistry in Year 7, then moves through Music Tech in Year 8 and Geography in Year 9, before reaching cookery in Year 10. That last one stuck: she is now studying for a Leiths cookery qualification alongside her A Levels. Bea also talks about the tennis, athletics, riding and modern pentathlon that fill the rest of her week, and about what it takes to leave school ready for the world beyond it.

Films only go so far

A video can show you what Leweston looks like, but it can't show you how it feels to walk through the door. Come and see the school in person, meet the teachers, and let your child decide what they make of it. Our Admissions team will happily plan a visit around you, whether that's a full tour, a chat about a specific year group, or an hour to look at the horses!
